Daily Puzzle
You get three cars a day, and all you see is a close-up of the tail light. Work out the brand first, then the model, then roughly when it was built. Three tries at each step, and every step you get right is a point — nine on the table each day.
Midnight, your time. Everyone gets the same three cars on the same day, so nobody is landed with a harder set than their mates.
Unlimited Mode keeps handing you cars for as long as you want, and it will not touch your daily streak. Your archive of past days is there too if you fancy a look back.
Because it has been taken out. Every photo gets edited by hand first to remove badges, lettering and anything else that would hand it to you. The shape of the light is all you get.
Nope. No email, no password, nothing. Your scores and streak just sit in your own browser — handy, but it does mean clearing your browsing data wipes them, so watch out on a shared computer.
Guess The Tail Light is a free daily car puzzle. Each day you get three cars, shown only as a close-up photograph of the rear light cluster, and you work backwards from that one detail: first the brand, then the model, then the year range it was built.
Every photo is edited by hand before it goes in, so badges, model lettering and anything else that would give the answer away are removed. The shape of the light is the only clue you get. The library covers everything from brand new electric SUVs to American muscle cars of the 1960s, and new cars are added over time.
You get three attempts at each stage and one point for each stage you get right, so nine points are available every day. The puzzle resets at midnight in your local time, and everyone in the world sees the same three cars. Finish the daily set and Unlimited Mode keeps serving random cars for as long as you want, without affecting your streak.
No account is needed and nothing is stored on a server — your score, streak and history live in your own browser.
